DURHAM WEST squeaks by SOUTHWEST, 5-3

DURHAM WEST gutted out a close 5-3 win against SOUTHWEST.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Charlea Pedersen at 13:00 of the third period.

Pedersen was all over the ice for DURHAM WEST, as she tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

DURHAM WEST pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

DURHAM WEST's goal total was higher than its season average. DURHAM WEST averages 2.7 goals per game. DURHAM WEST got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

DURHAM WEST additionally got points from Alyssa Gee (A), who also tallied one goal and one assist and Taylor McManus, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for DURHAM WEST included Taylor Hicks and Saroya Tinker, who scored one goal each.
