NEPEAN relied on the scoring touch of Kristy Pidgeon, who netted two goals, to beat BLUEWATER, 4-1.

Pidgeon scored at 6:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 NEPEAN and again while 14:23 into the second to make the score 2-0 NEPEAN.

NEPEAN's offense rang up 36 shots on BLUEWATER's net.

NEPEAN additionally got points from Alyssa Baker(A), who also registered one goal and one assist and Samantha Bouley, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for NEPEAN were Cynthia St Cyr, Blake Orosz, Leanne Baker, Josiane Pozzebon(A), and Carolyn Williams(A), who each chipped in one.

BLUEWATER put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow NEPEAN to score on any of its three power plays.

NEPEAN's Laurysa Lewis stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that she faced. NEPEAN incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Morgan Baker rejected 32 shots on goal for BLUEWATER. BLUEWATER incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
