OAKVILLE uses early goal to top STONEY CREEK, 2-0

OAKVILLE took the lead against STONEY CREEK in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory.

A goal 12:04 into the first period by Madison Field proved to be the game winner, and powered OAKVILLE to the victory. Emma Maltais assisted on the tally.

Daniela Paniccia frustrated STONEY CREEK's offense all game, and stopped 25 shots en route to a shutout.

OAKVILLE was led by Field, who racked up one goal and one assist.

OAKVILLE stifled STONEY CREEK's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Amy Curlew also scored for OAKVILLE. Other players who recorded assists for OAKVILLE were Loren Gabel, who had one.
