The game between LONDON and AURORA was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end LONDON emerged with a 4-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Kiernyn Campbell's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

In the losing effort, AURORA was led by Ashley Rothon, who registered two goals. Rothon scored the first of her two goals at 5:13 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Sabrina Manolescu assisted on the tally. Rothon's next tally made the score 3-2 LONDON with 1:42 left in the third period. Tara Morning (A) picked up the assist.

LONDON's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three AURORA power plays.

LONDON also got points from Courtney Simpson, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Campbell, who also racked up one goal and one assist. LONDON also got a goal from Emily Bowman as well. More assists for LONDON came via Lexie Adzija and Ella Shelton (C), who each chipped in one.

AURORA stifled LONDON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The defensemen of AURORA were also effective in LONDON's zone, and came away with two goals.

Other players who recorded assists for AURORA were Claudia Black, who had one.

LONDON's Molly Jenkins stopped 19 shots out of the 21 that she faced. LONDON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Taylor Lemmon made 26 saves for AURORA on 29 shots. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
