NEPEAN failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and OAKVILLE shook off a number of penalties to win, 2-1.

OAKVILLE was led by Amy Curlew, who finished with one goal. Curlew scored 17 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 OAKVILLE. Julia Edgar provided the assist.

OAKVILLE was often in penalty trouble, totaling seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. OAKVILLE surpassed its season average of 24.0 penalty minutes per game. OAKVILLE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 10 chances.

Loren Gabel also scored for OAKVILLE. In addition, OAKVILLE received assists from Madison Field, Jaime Bourbonnais, and Cassidy MacPherson, who each chipped in one.

NEPEAN was led by Samantha Bouley, who scored the team's only goal. Bouley scored 11:14 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Leanne Baker assisted on the tally.

OAKVILLE took out Nikki Cece after she had made 15 saves and installed Daniela Paniccia in goal, where she finished with 10 saves and the win. OAKVILLE registered one goal on four power play opportunities. NEPEAN's Kira Bombay stopped 18 shots out of the 20 that she faced. NEPEAN incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
