NEPEAN failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and OAKVILLE shook off a number of penalties to win, 2-1. OAKVILLE was led by Amy Curlew, who finished with one goal. Curlew scored 17 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 OAKVILLE. Julia Edgar provided the assist. OAKVILLE was often in penalty trouble, totaling seven minors and one major for 29 minutes in penalty time. OAKVILLE surpassed its season average of 24.0 penalty minutes per game. OAKVILLE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in 10 chances. Loren Gabel also scored for OAKVILLE.
