Sarah Hine registered two points to lead STONEY CREEK to a 4-1 victory over BRAMPTON.

STONEY CREEK kept BRAMPTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kaitlyn Simpson made 48 saves on 52 shots.

STONEY CREEK also got points from Kayla Vespa, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. STONEY CREEK also had goals scored by Rachael Smith and Courtney Maud (PU), who each put in one. In addition, STONEY CREEK received assists from Claire Merrick, Paige Jackson (A), and Sarah Jerome, who each chipped in one.

BRAMPTON's offense was handcuffed by STONEY CREEK's defensive play, and BRAMPTON managed only 10 shots on goal during the game. BRAMPTON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

BRAMPTON was led by Meghan Gallagher, who scored the team's only goal. Gallagher scored 10:52 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Katie McTaggart assisted on the tally.

Sarah McDonnell made nine saves for STONEY CREEK on 10 shots. STONEY CREEK incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. BRAMPTON registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
