M1 Mercyhurst University beats M1 Duquesne University 5-0 as Tadiello gets hat trick

A hat trick by Joseph Tadiello was the highlight in Lakers' 5-0 win against the M1 Duquesne University Dukes.

Tadiello's first goal came 9:17 into the second period. He then added goals at 10:45 into the third and at 14:44 into the third.

Bryan Danczak frustrated M1 Duquesne University's offense all game, and stopped 26 shots en route to a shutout. Danczak managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.2 prior to the game.

The M1 Mercyhurst University Lakers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. M1 Mercyhurst University put 36 shots on net during the contest, more than the 2.8 it averages per game.
