M1 Mercyhurst University completes comeback, beats M1 Canisius College, 4-3

The M1 Mercyhurst University Lakers rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins.

M1 Mercyhurst University never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Lakers fell behind 2-0 after a goal by M1 Canisius College's Andrew Ferrentino at 4:51 in the second period. M1 Mercyhurst University tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Joseph Zinner at 16:19 in the third period. The Lakers got the game winner at 18:39 in the third period on a goal by Zinner.

Joseph Tadiello had a great game for M1 Mercyhurst University, netting two goals.

The Lakers capitalized on the Golden Griffins' penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. By firing 37 shots on goal, M1 Mercyhurst University exceeded the 1.7 shot it averages per game this year.
