M1 Adrian College rolls over M1 Kent State University, 4-0

The M1 Adrian College Bulldogs had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over the M1 Kent State University Golden Flashes.

M1 Adrian College's penalty kill excelled, as the Bulldogs gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

M1 Adrian College was led by Alex Dobrzeniecki, who registered one goal. Dobrzeniecki scored on the power play 13:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Adrian College. A tripping penalty on Robert Rhue had put the Bulldogs on the power play. Matt Zaremba provided the assist.

M1 Adrian College stifled M1 Kent State University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs' defense was surprisingly good. M1 Adrian College averages 2.7 goals allowed per game. The Golden Flashes were unable to stop the Bulldogs from sending pucks towards the net, and M1 Adrian College eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

M1 Adrian College additionally got points from Brad Kobryn, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M1 Adrian College included Trevor Benaglio and Josh Hosking, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Adrian College received assists from Chris Derochie, who had two and Nicholas Goettel, Adam Bristol, and Justin Fisher, who contributed one each.

M1 Kent State University did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Golden Flashes average 3.2 goals per game. M1 Kent State University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 19 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.3 shots per game it averages.

Austyn Roudebush made 19 saves for the Bulldogs on 19 shots. M1 Adrian College incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Golden Flashes' Zachary Nowak stopped 35 shots out of the 39 that he faced. M1 Kent State University incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
