Behind a great game by Tyler Mason, who had one goal and two assists, M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue - Fort Wa defeated M3-Northwood University, 5-1.

Mason beat Dominic Orlando with a shot 12:30 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue - Fort Wa. Ryan Eichorst provided the assist. Mason dished an assist on Brendan Lewis's goal that made the score 1-0 M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue - Fort Wa at 8:19 into the first period. He added another helper on Grant Isenbarger's goal that made the score 5-1 M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue - Fort Wa at 8:18 into the third period.

M3-Indiana Univ-Purdue - Fort Wa put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M3-Northwood University to score on any of its four power plays.
