M1 Towson University uses early goal to top M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania, 4-2

Chris Szoka gave the M1 Towson University Tigers the lead in the first period, and the M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 4-2.

Szoka provided M1 Towson University with the game-winning tally when he scored 4:42 into the first period. Joe Vonakis picked up the assist.

Szoka was all over the ice for the Tigers, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win.

M1 Towson University's offense rang up 37 shots on M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania's net. The Tigers' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as M1 Towson University finished with 22 penalty minutes.

M1 Towson University also had goals scored by Nicholas Vonakis and Timothy Tedesco, who each put in one. More assists for M1 Towson University came via Nicholas Bickerstaff and Ryan Buccigrossi, who each chipped in one.
