The M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights failed to take advantage of their power play opportunities and the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen shook off a number of penalties to win, 5-1.

M1 Lebanon Valley College was led by Nick Schultz, who finished with one goal and one assist. Schultz scored 1:44 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Lebanon Valley College. Andy Thurby picked up the assist.

The Flying Dutchmen excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. With 28 shots on target during the contest, M1 Lebanon Valley College exceeded the 19.8 shots it averages per game this year.
