Jake Pyhel had two goals and three assists to lead the M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights to an 11-4 victory over the M1 West Chester University Golden Rams.

Pyhel scored at 2:06 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 2:49 into the second to make the score 3-2 M1 Rutgers University.

M1 Rutgers University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 West Chester University to score on any of its four power plays. The Scarlet Knights outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, M1 Rutgers University averages 2.6 goals per contest. The Scarlet Knights' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. With 50 shots on target during the contest, M1 Rutgers University exceeded the 1.7 shot it averages per game this year.

The Golden Rams' penalty kill unit could not stop the Scarlet Knights' power play, which converted on two of three opportunities. M1 West Chester University put 35 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.9 it averages per game.
