M1 Rhode Island / University of rides Sherman to victory over M1 Rutgers University, 6-1

Andrew Sherman had a standout game with 51 saves, and the M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams beat the M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights 6-1.

M1 Rhode Island / University of was led by AJ Chua, who racked up one goal. Chua scored on the power play 2:36 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Rhode Island / University of. A slashing penalty on Rob Bolinder had put the Rams on the power play. Billy DAmore assisted on the tally.

M1 Rhode Island / University of forced M1 Rutgers University goalie Connor Lam to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Others who scored for M1 Rhode Island / University of included Cameron Schneck, who had two and Matthew Pederson, Ray Boudiette, and John Del Padre, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Rhode Island / University of received assists from Matthew DaSilva, Paul Centauro, Robbie Buehrer, and Mark Luciano, who each chipped in one and Matthew Armenti and Steven Donahue, who contributed two each.
