M1 Delaware / University of falls to M1 Rutgers University in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the M1 Delaware / University of Blue Hens on a clutch goal by Kevin Fitch.

M1 Rutgers University overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Scarlet Knights fell behind 2-0 after a power play goal by M1 Delaware / University of's Maxwell Freeman at 19:32 in the first period. M1 Rutgers University tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Ted Udelsman at 6:49 in the third period.

In a losing effort, the Blue Hens were led by Freeman, who registered two goals. Freeman scored the first of his two goals at 15:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Delaware / University of. John Redgate provided the assist. Freeman's next tally made the score 2-0 M1 Delaware / University of with 28 seconds left in the first period. M1 Delaware / University of had gotten the advantage when the Scarlet Knights' David Stickle was sent off for tripping. John Brancaccio picked up the assist.
