M1 Arizona / University of outlasts M2 Michigan State University, 4-2

The M1 Arizona / University of Wildcats gutted out a close 4-2 win against M2 Michigan State University.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Shane Gleason at 24 seconds of the third period.

M1 Arizona / University of's penalty kill excelled, as the Wildcats gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

M1 Arizona / University of was sparked by Gleason, who registered one goal and one assist.

The Wildcats stifled M2 Michigan State University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M1 Arizona / University of could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. By firing 36 shots on goal, the Wildcats exceeded the 4.1 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Arizona / University of also got points from Dylan Carter, who also racked up one goal and one assist. M1 Arizona / University of also had goals scored by Roy Grandov and Robbie Wilkinson, who each put in one.
