Kadolph leads M1 Rochester College over M1 Midland University, 6-0

Matt Kadolph had two goals and two assists to lead the M1 Rochester College Warriors to a 6-0 victory over M1 Midland University.

Kadolph found the back of the net short handed 4:24 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Rochester College and again while 10:32 into the first to make the score 2-0 M1 Rochester College.

M1 Rochester College was boosted by Zakk Olvin, who turned in a shutout with 28 saves. The solid play of Olvin will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.57.

The Warriors put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Midland University to score on any of its six power plays. M1 Rochester College outdid its season average for goals scored. The Warriors average 3.5 goals per game. M1 Rochester College could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game. The Warriors' offense was clicking better than usual and put 54 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.8 shot per game they average.

M1 Rochester College additionally got points from Doug Lindensmith, who also tallied two goals and one assist. M1 Midland University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.
