Barbera nets hat trick, leads M1 Stony Brook University to 5-3 win over M1 Rhode Island / University of

A hat trick by Nick Barbera was the highlight in Seawolves' 5-3 win against the M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams.

Barbera's first goal came 57 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at eight seconds into the second and at 9:38 into the third.

The M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves put 28 shots on net during the contest, more than the 3.5 they average per game. M1 Stony Brook University's penalty kill was ineffective, and let in two goals to M1 Rhode Island / University of's power play unit.

M1 Stony Brook University also got points from Vincent Lopes, who also tallied one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. M1 Stony Brook University also got a goal from Andrew Cetola as well. More assists for M1 Stony Brook University came via JT Hall, who had two and Andrew Balzafiore and Michael Amodeo, who contributed one each.
