Brian Gara grabbed one point to lead the M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams to a 6-3 victory over the M1 Rutgers University Scarlet Knights.

M1 Rhode Island / University of excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Rams got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. With 41 shots on target during the contest, M1 Rhode Island / University of exceeded the 1.5 shot it averages per game this year.

M1 Rhode Island / University of also got points from Matthew Armenti, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M1 Rhode Island / University of included AJ Chua, who had two and Brenden Siegel and Mark Luciano, who scored one goal each.
