A goal by Mark Luciano put M1 Rhode Island / University of up 4-2 in the third period, but M1 Delaware / University of pulled to within one on Vincent Zingarelli's tally 10:12 into the third period. Luciano had a great game for the Rams, netting two goals. M1 Rhode Island / University of put 43 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.4 it averages per game. Others who scored for M1 Rhode Island / University of included Matthew Armenti and James Blute, who scored one goal each.
