M1 Rhode Island / University of survives M1 Delaware / University of comeback, wins 4-3

The M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Delaware / University of Blue Hens on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Mark Luciano put M1 Rhode Island / University of up 4-2 in the third period, but M1 Delaware / University of pulled to within one on Vincent Zingarelli's tally 10:12 into the third period.

Luciano had a great game for the Rams, netting two goals.

M1 Rhode Island / University of put 43 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.4 it averages per game.

Others who scored for M1 Rhode Island / University of included Matthew Armenti and James Blute, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Rhode Island / University of received assists from Cameron Schneck, who had two and Matthew DaSilva, Steven Donahue, Robbie Buehrer, Brian Schehr, Billy DAmore, and Richie Salava, who each chipped in one.

The Blue Hens' offense was clicking better than usual and put 28 shots on goal during the game, better than the 6.3 shots per game they average.
