M1 Mercyhurst University holds on for 4-3 win against M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania

The M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the M1 Mercyhurst University Lakers would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Greg Marsch put M1 Mercyhurst University up 4-2 in the third period, but M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania pulled to within one on Patrick Hunter's tally 18:38 into the third period.

Patrick Dolan and Marsch provided the spark for the Lakers, combining for three goals and one assist. Dolan registered two goals and Marsch also added one goal and one assist.

By firing 36 shots on goal, M1 Mercyhurst University exceeded the 1.7 shot it averages per game this year.

M1 Mercyhurst University also got points from Marsch, who also finished with one goal and one assist. M1 Mercyhurst University also got a goal from Colin Fenelon as well. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Mercyhurst University were Emilio Mayagoitia Puente, Jacob Grimm, and Joseph Tadiello, who each chipped in one and Kaleb Schwab and Sean DeVarennes, who contributed two each.
