M3-Widener University tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but M3-Southern Conn State held on for a 7-5 victory.

A goal by Justin Kenny put M3-Southern Conn State up 7-3 in the second period, but M3-Widener University pulled to within two on Trevor Huberty's tally 8:25 into the third period.
