OConnell's big game bests M3-Shippensburg University in 6-2 M3-Widener University win

M3-Widener University's Brian OConnell had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 6-2 win over M3-Shippensburg University.

OConnell found the back of the net on the power play 14:32 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M3-Widener University and again while on the power play 18:39 into the first to make the score 4-1 M3-Widener University.

M3-Shippensburg University's zero penalties came back to haunt it, as M3-Shippensburg University let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

M3-Widener University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

M3-Widener University also got points from John Silverio, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Matthew Reed, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Tim Leach also scored for M3-Widener University.
