M1 Drexel University takes care of M1 Lehigh University early, wins 15-4

The M1 Lehigh University Mountain Hawks fell behind early, and the M1 Drexel University Dragons kept piling on the points on the way to a 15-4 victory.

M1 Drexel University found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Dragons average 4.5 goals per game. M1 Drexel University's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. The Dragons put 46 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.1 they average per game.

M1 Drexel University was helped by Ryan Williams, who registered one goal and four assists. Williams scored 6:14 into the first period to make the score 4-0 M1 Drexel University. M1 Drexel University additionally got points from Nick Lombardi, who also racked up one goal and three assists, Stephen Villa, who also had one goal and one assist, William Bascou, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Tyler Woyshner, who also registered four goals and one assist, and Zach Paro, who also tallied one goal and one assist. M1 Drexel University also had goals scored by Jess Manyoky, who had two and Adam Ferreira, Christopher Rodrigue, Matthew Williams, and Carson Newton, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Drexel University were John Quigley, who had three and Ryan Beneduce, Christopher Carroll, Maxwell Stetson, and Jim Mikalic, who contributed one each.

M1 Lehigh University stifled the Dragons' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 20 shots that the Mountain Hawks put on net surpassed M1 Lehigh University's average of 1.3 shot per game this season.

The Mountain Hawks were led by Christopher Ramondelli, who had two goals and two assists. Ramondelli scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 16:30 into the first period to make the score 5-1 M1 Drexel University. M1 Lehigh University had taken the advantage when M1 Drexel University's Bascou got sent off for tripping. Adam Goldstein picked up the assist. Ramondelli's next tally on the power play made the score 12-3 M1 Drexel University with five seconds left in the second period. Kevin McGee assisted on the tally. M1 Lehigh University also got points from McGee, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. In addition, M1 Lehigh University received assists from Ryan Lexa, who had one and Justin Uzcategui, who had two.

Zachary Kantner rejected 16 shots on goal for the Dragons. M1 Drexel University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Mountain Hawks' Patrick Walgren stopped 31 shots out of the 46 that he faced. M1 Lehigh University incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
