M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog downs M1 Binghamton University, 5-2

Even with Kevin Maher's two points, the M1 Binghamton University Bearcats fell 5-2 to the M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog Tigers.

In a losing effort, M1 Binghamton University was led by Maher, who racked up two goals. Maher scored the first of his two goals at 3:41 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Evan obrien assisted on the tally. Maher's next tally made the score 3-2 M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog with 17:51 left in the third period. Casey Klein picked up the assist.

M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog stifled the Bearcats' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 71 shots that the Tigers put on net surpassed M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog's average of 0.3 shots per game this season.

The Tigers were helped by Jake Wexler, who grabbed one goal. Wexler scored 1:14 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog. Alex Nyzio assisted on the tally. Others who scored for M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog included Timothy Render, Adam Kristan, Kyle Moslow, and Trevor Mothersell, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog were Jacob Zaremski, Dominic Carapellatti, Quentin Newsome, Jordan OBrien, and Daniel Miller, who contributed one each.

M1 Rochester Institute of Technolog's Nicholas Amato stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. The Tigers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Harris Pittinsky made 66 saves for the Bearcats on 71 shots. M1 Binghamton University incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
