In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves escaped with a 3-2 victory over the M1 Liberty University Flames.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Tyler Underhill secured the win for M1 Stony Brook University with a goal in the third period.

The Seawolves were led by Underhill, who tallied one goal. Underhill scored 19:58 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Stony Brook University. Chris Joseph picked up the assist.

M1 Stony Brook University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Liberty University to score on any of its three power plays.
