M1 Stony Brook University pulls away in second, rolls over M1 West Chester University, 7-1

The M1 West Chester University Golden Rams was within striking distance after one period, but the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves put the pedal down in the second en route to a 7-1 victory.

M1 Stony Brook University was sparked by Joseph Bochichio, who racked up one goal. Bochichio scored 17:42 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Stony Brook University. Billy Freely assisted on the tally.

The Seawolves kept M1 West Chester University's goalie busy throughout the game, and Michael Rice made 47 saves on 54 shots.

M1 Stony Brook University additionally got points from Andrew Balzafiore, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Sam Brewster, who also had one goal and one assist. M1 Stony Brook University also had goals scored by Justin Lazalde, Ryan Cotcamp, Michael Amodeo, and Matthew Gervasi, who each put in one. More assists for M1 Stony Brook University came via Tyler Underhill, who had two, JT Hall, who had three, and Matt Miano, Dalton Gilbert, Brian Boser, Frank Sherding, and Erich Haney, who contributed one each.
