The M1 Mercyhurst University Lakers fell behind early, and the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs kept piling on the points on the way to an 8-2 victory.

M1 Adrian College got the win behind a great game by Robert Bodette, who had one goal and two assists. Bodette scored short handed 5:55 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Adrian College. The Bulldogs played down a man on Ted Anstett's interference. Alex Dobrzeniecki provided the assist.

M1 Adrian College's penalty kill excelled, as the Bulldogs gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

The Lakers were led by Joseph Tadiello, who racked up one goal and one assist. Tadiello scored on the power play 2:19 into the second period to make the score 6-1 M1 Adrian College. M1 Mercyhurst University had gained a power play chance when Archie Mckinnon was whistled for slashing. Joseph Zinner assisted on the tally. Patrick Schafer also scored for M1 Mercyhurst University.
