The M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies had trouble finding ways to stop the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs, which beat Golden Grizzlies, 4-1.

M1 Adrian College was led by Brad Kobryn, who tallied one goal. Kobryn scored 6:47 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Adrian College. Chris Derochie provided the assist.

The Bulldogs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three M1 Oakland University power plays. M1 Oakland University was unable to stop M1 Adrian College from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulldogs eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

M1 Adrian College also got a goal from Zach Armstrong as well. More assists for M1 Adrian College came via Matthew Oneill, who had two and Adam Bristol, Matt Zaremba, and Erik Alden, who each chipped in one.

The Golden Grizzlies put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Adrian College to score on any of its five power plays. M1 Oakland University's offense operated below its season average. The Golden Grizzlies average 4.8 goals per game.

M1 Oakland University was led by Kyle Nelson, who scored the team's only goal. Nelson scored 9:15 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Adrian College. Frank Saputo assisted on the tally.

Austyn Roudebush recorded 19 saves for the Bulldogs. M1 Adrian College incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Corey Hrischuk rejected 36 shots on goal for the Golden Grizzlies. M1 Oakland University incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
