M1 Drexel University outlasts M1 Syracuse University, 4-2Class of 23 Arena Sat, Jan 10, 2015 The M1 Drexel University Dragons and the M1 Syracuse University Orange were evenly matched throughout their contest, but M1 Drexel University made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Ryan Beneduce secured the win for the Dragons with a goal in the third period. Ryan Williams had one goal and two assists to lead M1 Drexel University. Williams scored 15:39 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Drexel University. The Dragons stifled M1 Syracuse University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. By firing 31 shots on goal, M1 Drexel University exceeded the 1.2 shot it averages per game this year. M1 Drexel University also had goals scored by Matthew Williams and Tyler Woyshner, who each put in one. The Dragons incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Jaime Ketchabaw recorded 27 saves for M1 Syracuse University. The Orange incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
