Loughran's goals lift M1 Canisius College to 11-3 victory over M1 Saint Bonaventure University

Chad Loughran was all over the ice for the M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins, as he tallied five goals in M1 Canisius College's 11-3 win over the M1 Saint Bonaventure University Bonnies.

Loughran's first goal came 8:40 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:05 into the second, at 10:50 into the second, at 2:34 into the third, and at 3:29 into the third.

The Golden Griffins found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. M1 Canisius College has scored at the pace of 4.6 goals per game during the current campaign. The Golden Griffins capitalized on M1 Saint Bonaventure University's penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage. M1 Canisius College's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. By firing 34 shots on goal, the Golden Griffins exceeded the 0.6 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Canisius College also got points from Andrew Ferrentino, who also finished with two goals and two assists. M1 Canisius College also had goals scored by Stan Pawlow, Samuel Burkhardt, Matthew Muszynski, and Michael Mangone, who each put in one.
