M1 Drexel University holds on for 5-3 win against M1 Cortland State University of NY

The M1 Cortland State University of NY Red Dragons tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but the M1 Drexel University Dragons held on for a 5-3 victory.

M1 Drexel University took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Cortland State University of NY storm back on a Daniel Nelson goal 12:46 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

William Bascou was all over the ice for the Dragons, as he had two goals in the win.

By firing 33 shots on goal, M1 Drexel University exceeded the 0.3 shots it averages per game this year.
