M1 Rhode Island / University of beats M1 Delaware / University of 1-0 as Sherman gains shutout

Andrew Sherman made 42 saves to complete the shutout and led the M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams to a 1-0 win against the M1 Delaware / University of Blue Hens.

Mark Luciano's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 6:34 in the second period. M1 Rhode Island / University of had gained a power play chance when Vincent Zingarelli was whistled for slashing. Ray Boudiette picked up the assist.

The Rams were sparked by Luciano, who grabbed one goal.
