M1 Liberty University downs M1 Delaware / University of, 6-3

Robert Ward registered two points to lead the M1 Liberty University Flames to a 6-3 victory over the M1 Delaware / University of Blue Hens.

M1 Liberty University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. With 58 shots on target during the contest, the Flames exceeded the 26.8 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Liberty University also got points from Tyson Street, who also tallied one goal and one assist. M1 Liberty University also had goals scored by Christian Garland, Kyle Garcia, Paul Lamoureux, and Ryley Egan, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Liberty University received assists from Ben Hughes, who had two, Chase Harris, who had three, and Lindsay LeBlanc, Grant Garvin, and Kyle Miller, who each chipped in one.

M1 Liberty University was unable to stop M1 Delaware / University of from sending pucks towards the net, and the Blue Hens eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

M1 Delaware / University of was helped by Matthew Gumina, who racked up one goal. Gumina scored 4:13 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Pate provided the assist. Others who scored for M1 Delaware / University of included Leo Skehan and Michael Conte, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Delaware / University of were Maxwell Freeman, who had one and Marcello Deangelis, who had two.

Matt Pinel rejected 31 shots on goal for the Flames. M1 Liberty University incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Blue Hens' Dylan Troiano stopped 52 shots out of the 57 that he faced. M1 Delaware / University of incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
