The M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies relied on the sparkling performance of Sean Parker in net to grab a 5-1 win against the M1 Rochester College Warriors.

Frank Saputo was all over the ice for M1 Oakland University, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Saputo scored on the power play 5:20 into the third period to make the score 3-1 M1 Oakland University. A cross checking penalty on Joey Giordano had put the Golden Grizzlies on the power play. Kyle Nelson provided the assist.

M1 Oakland University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 27 penalty minutes.
