The M1 Davenport University Panthers survived a determined comeback attempt by the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies on the way to a 5-4 win.

M1 Davenport University made the score 5-3 on a goal by Kody Polin at 12:59 in the third period, and M1 Oakland University got as close as 5-4 when Tom Kilgore scored 14:51 into the third period.
