William Balent had two goals to lead the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies to a 7-4 victory over M1 Indiana Institute of Technology.

Balent scored at 24 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Oakland University and again while on the power play 15:03 into the second to make the score 5-3 M1 Oakland University.

M1 Oakland University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.
