Arena Sun, Jan 11, 2015 In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the M1 Lindenwood University Lions escaped with a 3-2 victory over the M1 Ohio University Bobcats. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Lukas Daniels secured the win for M1 Lindenwood University with a goal in the third period. The Lions were led by Daniels, who finished with one goal. Daniels scored on the power play 18:40 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Lindenwood University. M1 Lindenwood University had gotten the advantage when M1 Ohio University's Jake Faiella was sent off for tripping. Rock Einersen assisted on the tally. The Lions' offense were handcuffed by the Bobcats' defensive play, and M1 Lindenwood University managed only 12 shots on goal during the game. M1 Lindenwood University additionally got points from Graham Zagrodney, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Lindenwood University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Aaron Alkema recorded nine saves for M1 Ohio University. The Bobcats incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
