M3-McKendree University survived a determined comeback attempt by M3-Aurora University-Blue on the way to a 5-3 win.

M3-McKendree University made the score 5-1 on a goal by Jacob Young at 18:14 in the second period, and M3-Aurora University-Blue got as close as 5-3 when Wolfgang Baran scored 11:16 into the third period.

Dylan Mueth was all over the ice for M3-McKendree University, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Mueth scored 5:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-McKendree University. Ryan Sizer picked up the assist.
