Rivard's big game bests M1 Colorado State University in 7-2 M1 Arizona State University win

Behind a great game by Eric Rivard, who had two goals and one assist, the M1 Arizona State University Sun Devils defeated the M1 Colorado State University Rams, 7-2.

Rivard found the back of the net 13:39 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Arizona State University and again while on the power play 15:36 into the second to make the score 3-2 M1 Arizona State University.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. The 36 shots that M1 Arizona State University put on net surpassed the Sun Devils' average of 0.5 shots per game this season.

M1 Arizona State University additionally got points from Chris Blessing, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Kory Chisholm, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
