M1 Arizona State University squeaks by M1 Liberty University, 6-4

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the M1 Arizona State University Sun Devils escaped with a 6-4 victory over the M1 Liberty University Flames.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Liam Norris's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Chris Burkemper had a great game for M1 Arizona State University, netting two goals. Burkemper's tallies came at 1:45 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M1 Liberty University and on the power play 6:48 into the second to make the score 2-2.

The Sun Devils' defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game. M1 Arizona State University is averaging 1.9 goal against for the season. The Sun Devils' offense was clicking better than usual and put 41 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.5 shots per game they average.
