M3-Northwestern falls to M2 Lewis University in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

M2 Lewis University's Jason Pischke scored 4:59 into overtime to beat M3-Northwestern, 5-4 (OT).

M3-Northwestern's power play was ineffective against M2 Lewis University's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

M2 Lewis University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M3-Northwestern to score on any of its nine power plays. M2 Lewis University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. By firing 48 shots on goal, M2 Lewis University exceeded the 0.9 shots it averages per game this year.

M2 Lewis University was led by Bradley Hojek, who racked up one goal and two assists. Hojek scored 4:47 into the third period to make the score 4-3 M2 Lewis University.
