M2 Lewis University outlasts M2 Illinois University of, 4-3

M2 Lewis University and M2 Illinois University of were evenly matched throughout their contest, but M2 Lewis University made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Jason Pischke's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

M2 Lewis University was paced by Pischke, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Pischke scored 5:58 into the third period to make the score 4-3 M2 Lewis University. Nicholas Johnsen provided the assist.

In a losing effort, M2 Illinois University of was led by Matt Crook, who registered two goals. Crook scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 58 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Illinois University of. Crook's next tally on the power play made the score 2-1 M2 Illinois University of with 19:17 left in the second period. Brendan Lum picked up the assist.

M2 Lewis University's offense rang up 36 shots on M2 Illinois University of's net.
