M1 Colorado State University falls to M1 Oklahoma / University of in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The M1 Oklahoma / University of Sooners' Darrell Boldon scored 5:00 into overtime to beat the M1 Colorado State University Rams, 3-2 (OT).

M1 Oklahoma / University of got the win with help from a great game by Boldon, who had two goals and one assist. Boldon scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 1:21 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Oklahoma / University of. The Sooners had gained a power play chance when Luke Fiegl was whistled for cross checking. Ty Jones assisted on the tally. Boldon's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 M1 Oklahoma / University of with 15:00 left in overtime.

M1 Oklahoma / University of excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. With 28 shots on target during the contest, the Sooners exceeded the 2.8 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Oklahoma / University of also got points from Jones, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for M1 Oklahoma / University of came via Derek Tylka and Cory Ramsey, who each chipped in one.
