M1 Robert Morris Univ Illinois hangs on, beats M1 Davenport University 3-1

The M1 Robert Morris Univ Illinois Eagles took the lead against the M1 Davenport University Panthers in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 3-1 victory.

A goal 45 seconds into the first period by Gavin Burbach proved to be the game winner, and powered M1 Robert Morris Univ Illinois to the victory.

The Eagles' Andy DiCristofaro was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 28 saves and let only one puck past him. DiCristofaro certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 1.69 entering the contest.

M1 Robert Morris Univ Illinois was led by Derek Winkler, who tallied one goal. Winkler scored 7:04 into the second period to make the score 2-0 M1 Robert Morris Univ Illinois. Nick Ernst assisted on the tally.
