M1 Ithaca College falls to M1 Binghamton University in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The M1 Binghamton University Bearcats' Thomas Kirk scored 2:02 into overtime to beat the M1 Ithaca College Bombers, 4-3 (OT).

M1 Binghamton University stifled M1 Ithaca College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bearcats kept the Bombers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jonathan Lipshutz made 42 saves on 46 shots.

M1 Binghamton University was led by Alex Fritz, who had two goals. Fritz scored the first of his two goals at 4:27 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Binghamton University. Jayson Maserjian picked up the assist. Fritz's next tally made the score 3-3 with 3:01 left in the second period. M1 Binghamton University also got a goal from Brandon Shapiro as well. More assists for M1 Binghamton University came via Chris Emerson, who had one.

The Bearcats were unable to stop M1 Ithaca College from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bombers eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

M1 Ithaca College was helped by Ryan Murtagh, who grabbed two goals. Murtagh scored the first of his two goals at 15:24 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Binghamton University. Kyle Goldstein assisted on the tally. Murtagh's next tally made the score 2-2 with 9:36 left in the second period. Onesemiah Sutich picked up the assist. M1 Ithaca College additionally got points from Sutich, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, M1 Ithaca College received assists from Zander Hoke and Tim Foster, who each chipped in one.

Harris Pittinsky made 46 saves for M1 Binghamton University on 49 shots. The Bearcats incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Bombers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
