Michael Harris gave the M1 Ohio University Bobcats a 3-2 (OT) victory over the M1 Liberty University Flames when he scored 3:16 into the extra period.

Harris had a great game for M1 Ohio University, netting two goals.

The Bobcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M1 Ohio University put 37 shots on net during the contest, more than the 5.6 it averages per game. The Bobcats were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 16 penalty minutes.

Jake Faiella also scored for M1 Ohio University. In addition, M1 Ohio University received assists from Matthew Hartman, who had two and Joey Breslin and Tom Whetsel, who contributed one each.

M1 Liberty University could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Flames average 5.0 goals per game. M1 Liberty University found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing four power plays.

The Flames were helped by Ryley Egan, who registered two goals. Egan scored the first of his two goals at 17:44 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Ben Hughes assisted on the tally. Egan's next tally made the score 2-2 with 1:55 left in the third period. Hughes picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Liberty University were Lindsay LeBlanc and Grant Garvin, who each chipped in one.

Scott Boyd rejected 27 shots on goal for M1 Ohio University. Matt Pinel recorded 34 saves for M1 Liberty University.
