Harris had a great game for M1 Ohio University, netting two goals. The Bobcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M1 Ohio University put 37 shots on net during the contest, more than the 5.6 it averages per game. The Bobcats were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 16 penalty minutes. Jake Faiella also scored for M1 Ohio University. In addition, M1 Ohio University received assists from Matthew Hartman, who had two and Joey Breslin and Tom Whetsel, who contributed one each. M1 Liberty University could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Flames average 5.0 goals per game. M1 Liberty University found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing four power plays. The Flames were helped by Ryley Egan, who registered two goals.
