The Listowel Cyclones, which found themselves down a man often, weathered the Brantford 99ers' power play opportunities and emerged with a 4-0 victory. Listowel was sparked by Jordan Caskenette, who tallied one goal. Caskenette scored 4:11 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Listowel. The Cyclones' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Brantford power plays. Listowel's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Cyclones average 3.0 goals allowed per game.
