The Stratford Cullitons' penalty kill was superb, as Stratford survived multiple penalties to beat the Listowel Cyclones, 2-0.

The Cullitons were led by Jared Nash, who tallied one goal. Nash scored 18:39 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Stratford. Deven Kropf assisted on the tally.

Stratford's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven Listowel power plays. The Cullitons could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Stratford ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Broomhead was ejected from the game. Tyler Fassl made 27 saves for Listowel on 29 shots. The Cyclones ended with 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major. For Listowel, Keaton Willis was ejected from the game.
