Kyle Quick had two goals to lead the Leamington Flyers to a 7-1 victory over the St. Marys Lincolns. Quick found the back of the net 1:26 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Leamington and again while 8:16 into the first to make the score 2-0 Leamington.Leamington kept St. Marys' goalie busy throughout the game, and Tyler Beattie made 47 saves on 54 shots. The Flyers outdid their season average for goals scored. Leamington averages 4.0 goals per game. Leamington also got points from Eric Henderson, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Chris Scott, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Leamington also had goals scored by J.P. Grineau, Blake Rutckyj, and Kyle Perkowski, who each put in one. In addition, Leamington received assists from Blaine Bechard, Alex Derksen, Cale Allen, Matthew Opblinger, Alex Friesen, and Zak Parlette, who contributed one each and Colin Moore and Zack Guilbeault, who each chipped in two. Trevor Wheaton made 18 saves for the Flyers on 19 shots. Leamington incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Lincolns incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
